On a particularly rainy day

I've never found my mum's garden particularly inspiring until this afternoon, when I caught a glimpse of the droplets of water on the creepers on the orchid stand. It's strange and funny how the rain renders a completely different view to our surroundings. The droplets of water on the bougainvilleas only enhanced its fragile paper-like petals and strangely reminded me of water colour paintings.

This is what happens when you are holed up inside, when you heart, mind and physical being wishes to be outside. Desperate for any form of distraction, even mineral water bottles turn out to be inspiring.
(Teehee...note the mistake! I was going to do a backdated entry, but obviously a phlegm-brained me selected the wrong month. Ooops!...)
